CSS Sprite Sliding Windows →
This link is for Shwendy. Sprites are a method used to put multiple states of buttons, etc. in a single image, and then reference them in CSS (for example, creating the normal, hover, and active—clicking—states of a button).
This is done to cut down on the number of images that have to be loaded = faster site.
