After a long and frustrating weekend, but totally fun and enjoyable to finally see things come to fruition, the Ligature 21 gallery is set up! We’re super grateful for neutral7 supplying us with the vinyls for the show, they came out amazing and were very simple to apply. Thanks to everyone who came out to help: Alyssia, Christian, Jarrod, Bailey, Alina, Chris, Gaby, Vicky, Nicole, Sarah, Will, & Jason. Forgive me if I didn’t mention you, I can only remember so much! Thank you, regardless. Big congrats (and thanks) to the Ligature chairs Brett & Kaleigh. 

Anyway, enjoy these funny/cool process photos! Ligature 21 has officially started today on the 6th of February, and the closing reception is on the 24th where our guests Duane King, Dana Tanamachi and UF alum Mike Tabie will all be in attendance. It’s going to be dashing.

Ligature 21 Submissions are currently open and the submission site is up! From Dec. 2nd to Jan. 2nd, those who are looking for a chance to get their work featured and displayed in February should most definitely submit! Go to voxgraphis.tumblr.com/ligature21 and download the submission kit and follow the directions!

Our gust designers this year are Mike Tabie, from Two Arms Inc. and UF Alum, Dana Tanamachi, who has been riding the chalkboard to fame, and finally Duane King, best known for Nike Better World. Huuuuge line-up this year, I’m so excited every time I think about it I regret not wearing diapers. This years closing ceremony is February 24th, where each of the designers will be giving fantastic talks about sweet, chalk filled (baddum-tish), and brain melting design related subjects. Looking forward to it, save the date, and remember to invite your parents. They might like it, too.
